ScriptLilt Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 26, 2026
ScriptLilt is an independent app by Zhihao Jiang. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
Information in the app
You do not need an account to use ScriptLilt. Scripts, imported text, recordings, and app settings are stored on your device. The app does not send your scripts, camera feed, microphone audio, or recordings to a developer-operated server. It does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
The app requests camera and microphone access when you choose to record. It requests add-only Photos access when you choose to save a recording to Photos. You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings. Rehearsal does not require camera or microphone access.
Purchases and sharing
If you buy ScriptLilt Pro, Apple processes the purchase. The app uses Apple's StoreKit transaction and entitlement information to unlock Pro and restore purchases. We do not receive your payment card details.
When you choose to share or export a script or recording, the destination you select handles that copy under its own privacy practices. Your personal iCloud or device backup settings may include app documents. Exported copies and backups are not removed when you delete an item inside ScriptLilt.
Support email
If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever information you decide to include, such as your device model, app version, screenshots, or problem description. We use it only to respond and troubleshoot. Please do not send sensitive scripts or recordings unless needed for your request. You may ask us to delete your support correspondence at any time by emailing the address below.
Your choices
You can delete scripts and recordings in the app. You can revoke camera, microphone, and Photos permissions in iOS Settings. To remove copies you exported to other apps or Photos, delete them in those destinations. To remove app data and any remaining local documents, use iOS storage controls or delete the app, subject to your device backup settings.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app or our practices change. The effective date above will be revised when we do. For privacy or support questions, contact noahjiang2@gmail.com.
